Will the 1-2 step rail work with a 14” rise?
No, the rise tolerance is from 5 inches to 9 inches.

Can the uprights be at 21” centers and the top railing be attached?
The uprights will not be plumb (true vertical) on 21" centers. The uprights need to be on 23 3/4" centers to have a porfessional looking installation.
What is the height of the stair post
The height of the handrail post is 36"
How can I determine whether this will fit on my steps? What should I measure?
You can measure the steps and the risers.
Each step should be between 10”-11” and the risers about 7”-8”. The height between the bottom of the bottom post and the bottom of the top post is about 22”-24”. Our railing fits the standard size stairs.
