We believe in keeping things simple and transparent. This policy explains what our warranty covers, what it doesn't, how the warranty will be implemented, and how to make a claim if needed. We're here to support you every step of the way. Now, let's get into the specifics of our warranty coverage.
10-year warranty
At CR Fence & Rail, Our 10-year warranty is here to provide you with assurance, covering normal use and wear conditions, excluding installations within 10 miles of the coastline. During the first 5 years of product ownership, the warranty will cover 100% of the cost of the product.
If you need to make a valid claim during years 5 through 10, here's how our prorated scale works:
- Within the first 5 years: We'll replace 100% of the cost of your product
- Years 5-6: We'll cover 80% of the affected product's cost
- Years 6-7: We'll cover 70% of the affected product's cost
- Years 7-8: We'll cover 55% of the affected product's cost
- Years 8-9: We'll cover 45% of the affected product's cost
- Years 9-10: We'll cover 30% of the affected product's cost
Warranty coverage
If you encounter any material defects with your CR Fence & Rail products, we will replace the same products. And in the event that we can't provide an exact model replacement, we will offer today's fair market value credit that can be applied towards any of our product offering. In some cases, we may request the old part for testing or ask for photos or videos of the issue. It's important to note that this warranty covers the product cost, but it does NOT include removal or installation expenses.
CR Fence & Rail can modify or deny any warranty claim at its sole discretion.
In order to verify the old fence and railing has been removed and disposed of, CR Fence & Rail might request for photo evidence that the defective products have been removed before shipping of the replacement products.

Metal product warranty
CR Fence & Rail warrants that all metal products to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use applications, including both residential and commercial use.
Powder coat finish
Whether your project is indoors or outdoors, our 10-year warranty covers fading, adhesion issues, and corrosion due to finish failure. However, it does not cover damage from impacts or "acts of God," such as natural disasters. The warranty does not extend to locations within 10 miles of a saltwater coast, as salt exposure may affect the powder coat finish.

Stainless steel warranty
As for our our Stainless Steel warranty, we define corrosion as a structural and permanent defect in steel. However, please keep in mind that it excludes surface corrosion, which can often be addressed with appropriate cleaning. It also does not cover impact damage to the finish. This warranty excludes installation, indoor or outdoor use within 10 miles of a saltwater coast and, like the others, does not extend to "acts of God," such as house fires or natural disasters.
Additional warranty limitations
CR Fence & Rail warranty does not cover the following:
- Accidents
- Alterations
- Welding
- Neglect
- Damage from lawn care equipment
- Abrasion
- Exposure to harsh chemicals
- Mildew
- Discoloration
- Other damage caused by air pollution
- Ground or structure movements
- Distortion
- Collapse
- Settling where the railing product is installed
- Stain color retention
- Match
- Finish performance
- Damage from large animals impacting the fence
- Providing your own glass, hardware, panels, or treads
- Removal or installation expenses
- "Acts of God," such as house fires, lightning, tornadoes, and other natural disasters
